Kate is a graduate of the Rhode Island School of Design with a Master of Architecture.
Working and moving across the country during her early career (Boston, Chicago, La Jolla, Phoenix, and New York) gave Kate a nuanced appreciation of American design, as well as a seasoned and mature approach to client services and project management.
She developed her skills at several top firms: DLK Architecture, Sills Huniford, Eric Cohler Design, Eve Robinson Associates and David Michael Miller Associates. Under David’s tutelage, in particular, she learned relentless execution of architectural detail, and the pursuit of balanced sculptural expression through scale and color.
In 2004 she founded Kate Hauser + Co. in New York City. WIth a new family in tow, she later resettled in Fairfield County, Connecticut where she lives with her husband, her nearly grown two sons and an eldery mutt named Pablo.
